Jenny Chemer is a personal trainer in the West Bend/Jackson area who has been helping people reach their fitness goals for over two decades. She’s also a busy mom of 5, so she really does understand the specific struggles that moms & parents face while achieving their fitness goals.
We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Jenny and chat about her philosophy on fitness. She answered some great Busy Kid reader-submitted questions about managing fitness and motherhood. She also gave us 5 great tips for parents who want to focus on fitness during this busy season of life.
Jenny is here to help with 2 forms of Personal Training:
- In – Person training at her home studio in West Bend
- Skype training from your home, office, or anywhere with an internet connection

Skype Personal Training Sessions
At your home, office, or anywhere you have open space and an internet connection!
No childcare? No problem! Work out with Jenny from ANYWHERE with her live online Personal Training Sessions!
Skype Personal Training sessions give you the same interaction via Skype that you would have if she were personally there training you (without having to pack up the kids)!
Jenny will design and oversee your workouts, talk you through the exercises, and make sure you are performing them correctly.
These sessions can also be shared with a friend, so you could turn any playdate into a Moms’ Workout Date!
OUR SKYPE EXPERIENCE
We had the opportunity to try out a Skype workout together, and actually really loved the format! Steph was 8 months pregnant during our session, and Jenny was able to customize the workout to fit our different fitness levels. We had a great workout session in Shannon’s living room with minimal equipment.
We also had quite the audience that day – 2 kids and a dog. Jenny was amazing at handling all of the distractions – she didn’t bat an eye when the kids jumped in and wanted to join us!
Only minimal! To get started, Jenny suggests purchasing one set of dumbbells and a band – both can be found at your local Target or Walmart. Jenny is very good at incorporating everyday items into your workout, so expensive equipment is not necessary!
In Person Personal Training Sessions
Located at Jenny’s Home Gym in the West Bend/Jackson area
Live in the West Bend/Jackson Area? Train with Jenny at her home gym! Her workout space is fully loaded with weights, balls, TRX Bands, Battle Ropes and much more. You will definitely work up a sweat with the variety of personalized workouts she provides.
OUR EXPERIENCE TRAINING AT JENNY’S GYM
Jenny made it easy for us to stop by and get an awesome workout in together with convenient scheduling and parking! She has an awesome gym setup and also was able to customize this workout to fit both of our fitness levels. We loved that we could train hard without feeling intimidated by others at the gym.
We’ll warn you though – Jenny doesn’t miss anything! She’ll make sure your form is right and that you are hitting all of your reps. You’ll get a great workout in!
Individual Session $40
Shared Session $25 per person
Personal training sessions run 30-35 minutes and are customized to each participant’s fitness abilities and goals.
