Meadowbrook Creepy Cornfield (West Bend)
Explore a PG version of Meadowbrook’s Haunted Cornfield. No actors… just creepy props and a corn maze for your family to solve. Available times and admission prices vary.
Harry Potter Magical Movie Showcase (Brookfield, Green Bay Easy, Menomonee Falls, Oshkosh, Saukville, Sheboygan, Waukesha)
Head over to Marcus Theatres at noon on Saturdays and Sundays to watch some of your favorite Harry Potter Movies. Admission is $5 for all.
Dwelling of Despair and Forest of Fear (Slinger)
Ready to get spooked? Check out the children’s matinees at this popular Slinger Haunted House. Visit October 21st from Noon-4pm. The lights are on and admission is $6/person.
Night Runs – Pumpkin Train Rides MLES (Jackson)
Late night fun for little ones! Head over to MLES Railroad Park (on the border of Jackson and Cedarburg) on Friday nights in October for Pumpkin Train Rides in the Dark. Your kids will love seeing all of the lights, pumpkins and decorations that have been hung for this fun event. Free Admission – Oct 5, 12, and 19, 6:30-9pm
Halloween Candlelight Cave Tour (Chilton)
Enjoy a family-oriented evening exploring Ledge View’s trails and caves by candlelight, and meet some unusual personalities with strange stories to tell. The minimum recommended age is 5 years old with parent. Admission is $6/kids & $8/adults. October 19th – 20th.
Gallery Trick-or-Treat and Art Making at MOWA (West Bend)
Wear your Halloween costume to MOWA and trick-or-treat for treasures in the art galleries! In the studio, create spooky crafts and paint your own pumpkin to take home. October 27th, 10:00 AM. Free with membership.
Luminary Night Walk (West Bend)
Enjoy the night at Lac Lawrann Conservancy with luminary lighted trails, readings from scary tales, and stargazing. End your evening with a campfire and refreshments. Free admission! October 13
Horicon Haunted Marsh Tour (Horicon)
Dress in your Halloween costume and enjoy a night hike on the marsh. Test your senses and uncover the truths about some mythical stories! October 20th
Happily Haunted Gardens (Sheboygan)
Experience Bookworm Gardens at night as thousands of twinkling lights illuminate the gardens for two weekends of not-so-scary fun! Wander the bewitched and glowing gardens, trick-or-treat at the treat stations, listen to book characters read aloud, and come dressed in your costume for lots of fun! (Admission is $5/person. Event dates are: Oct 19-20 & Oct 25-27, 5-8pm)
Trails & Treats (Saukville)
Meet some amazing creatures of the night up close and personal at this Riveredge Nature Center Event. Take an evening hike, collect treats, carve pumpkins, and listen in to creepy tales around the campfire. Costumes are welcome and advanced registration is required. (Cost Per Child: Non-members: $9.00. Event is October 13.)
Spooktacular (Fond Du Lac)
Bring your whole family in costume to the Fond du Lac Children Museum’s ever-popular Halloween-themed event! Experience a one-of-a-kind interactive show with show times every 30 minutes. Devour a caramel apple at our caramel apple bar and make a spooky craft to take home in Wagener’s Workshop. (Oct 26, 4-7pm. Museum admission is $7/person.)
Lapham Peak Fright Hike (Delafield)
Each Halloween, for two nights only, the beautiful moonlit paths of Lapham Peak State Park are riddled with ghosts and goblins. Walk the haunted trails, if you dare! Afterwards, enjoy live music and concessions by the bonfire. Purchase your tickets online to secure a spot – it sells out every year! October 12th & 13th
Head to Retzer Nature Center for a Halloween themed evening, filled with not-so-spooky entertainment and activities the whole family will enjoy, including guided hikes, a DJ dance, crafts, games, planetarium shows, and more! (Friday, Oct. 12, Admission is $15 per carload.)
Night at the Zoo (West Bend)
Come enjoy the Shalom Wildlife Zoo at night (walking only). Wear a costume, bring a flashlight & some marshmallows to roast over a fire by the bears. October 19th, 20th, 26th & 27th. Normal zoo admission applies.
Saukville Scare 5k Run/Walk (Saukville)
Join this spooky 5k Run/Walk – costumes are encouraged and kids 13 and under are free! October 20th, 9:00 AM.
Halloween Legends and Lore (Eagle)
Troves of supernatural tales brought to Wisconsin over the generations come to life in this family-friendly Halloween event. Attempt a haunted maze, attend theatrical performances, hear spooky tales come to life, enjoy tasty treats, and see costumed characters in this unique Halloween event at Old World Wisconsin. October 19, 20, 26, & 27. Admission: 0-4 FREE, 5-17 $9.00, 18+ $12.00.
Haumerson’s Pond Night Hike (Fort Atkinson)
or a scary good time, take an evening stroll on a haunted candlelit trail in the woods. Activities include ghost stories and kids craft activities. Free admission! October 19th & 20th
Luminary Halloween Hike (Fond du Lac)
This luminary Halloween hike will introduce five friendly characters talking about how they help the environment. Registration will take place at the Gottfried Prairie Arboretum shelter starting at 7pm with the first hike starting at 7:15 pm and every 15 minutes after that. There will be homemade refreshments for sale with proceeds going towards Gottfried Prairie educational programs. The hike takes place on a trail that is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. All ages are welcome! October 20th, Free admission.
