Want to pay it forward this Thanksgiving season? We’ve put together a list of local charities and programs to consider donating to. Don’t have extra funds or items to donate? No problem. How about your time? Many of these charities would LOVE volunteers.

Washington County Humane Society

The mission of The Washington County Humane Society is to protect animals from suffering and cruelty, to provide care for animals afflicted by neglect and abandonment, and to enhance the lives of animals and people through education, adoption and compassion. View the current Wish List here.

St. Boniface Catholic Parish & School – Christmas Giving Tree

The Christmas Giving Tree takes place from November to December. St. Boniface collect Christmas Presents for Food Pantry clients and Nursing Home patients, plus food items for the food pantry. Get into the Christmas spirit by selecting tags from the Giving Tree in Boniface Hall during the Christmas season, and return the gifts properly marked so recipients can enjoy a beautiful season!

The Youth and Family Project, Inc., founded in 1975, is a private, non-profit agency with offices located in Washington and Waukesha Counties. Staff and volunteers are dedicated to providing a variety of support, education and counseling services, aimed at reuniting the family divided by crisis and enriching family relationships.
